Mdina Gate
Mdina Gate is the main entrance to Malta’s ancient walled city of Mdina, built in 1724 in Baroque style during the rule of Grand Master Vilhena.
Made of limestone and richly decorated with carvings and a coat of arms, it is reached by a stone bridge over a former moat.
As the entry to Malta’s “Silent City,” it’s a key historic landmark and also featured in Game of Thrones as the gates of King’s Landing.
