đď¸ Casa BatllĂł â GaudĂ's Architectural Masterpiece đŞđ¸
One of the highlights of Barcelona's famous Passeig de Grà cia is the extraordinary Casa Batlló, a building that showcases the imagination and genius of Antoni Gaudà like few others.
This close-up captures some of the building's most recognisable featuresâflowing stone balconies, organic shapes, colourful mosaics, and beautifully crafted windows that seem to ripple like the surface of the sea. Inspired by nature, GaudĂ avoided straight lines wherever possible, giving the façade a sense of movement and life.
Often nicknamed the "House of Bones" because of its skeletal columns and balconies, Casa Batlló is also said to represent the legend of Saint George and the Dragon, with symbolic details woven throughout its remarkable design.
Standing beneath the façade, it's impossible not to admire the incredible craftsmanship and creativity that have made Casa Batlló one of Barcelona's most visited landmarks and a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
