📍 Eiffel Bridge 🇪🇸

Also known as the Pont de les Peixateries Velles, Girona’s famous red iron bridge was designed by the company of Gustave Eiffel before the construction of the Eiffel Tower in Paris.

Built in 1877, the bridge crosses the Onyar River and has become one of the city’s most recognizable landmarks. 🌉

Its striking red metal structure offers unique views of Girona’s colourful riverside buildings and connects both sides of the historic city centre.

Today, it remains one of the most photographed spots in Girona and an important piece of the city’s architectural heritage. ✨
