Standing at the southern tip of the Isle of Portland, Portland Bill Lighthouse is one of Dorset’s most recognisable coastal landmarks.

The distinctive red-and-white tower has guided ships safely around this rugged stretch of coastline for generations. Set against a clear blue sky and the open waters of the English Channel, it makes a great subject for coastal photography.

The surrounding landscape is equally impressive, with rocky paths, open grassland and dramatic views along the Portland coastline.
