The interior of the Rotunda of Mosta is every bit as impressive as its famous exterior.

From the gallery level, the scale of the church becomes clear. The vast circular nave, soaring dome, ornate architectural details, and beautifully proportioned altar combine to create one of Malta's most remarkable religious interiors. The harmonious blend of gold, blue, white, and marble gives the church a sense of both grandeur and elegance.

Inspired by Rome's Pantheon, the Rotunda is renowned for its enormous unsupported dome, which dominates the space above while flooding the church with natural light. Every arch, column, and decorative panel contributes to a design that remains one of Malta's greatest architectural achievements.
